Kris McKinnon named Director of Sales at East West Destination Hospitality
East West Destination Hospitality is pleased to announce that it has hired Kris McKinnon to serve as the Director of Sales for its Vail Mountain Lodging and Beaver Creek Mountain Lodging divisions. A veteran sales executive with more than 20 years of mountain travel industry experience, McKinnon joins East West Destination Hospitality after spending more than a decade at SKI.com, where she most recently served as the Vice President of Sales and Business Development. A graduate of Colorado Mountain College, she spent nearly 10 years as a ski instructor & manager for Aspen Skiing Company before moving into sales, where she rose to the position of Managing Director of Worldwide Sales. McKinnon is the most recent Past President of the Board of Directors for SkiTops, the official Ski Tour Operators Association. In addition to managing sales for over 250 condominiums, townhomes and private homes in Beaver Creek and Bachelor Gulch, McKinnon will manage the reservations sales team for Vail Mountain Lodging. Vail Mountain Lodging encompasses several unique luxury homes and Vail properties, including Vail Spa – which completed $10 million in upgrades last winter - the Wren at Vail, Eagle Point Resort. East West Destination Hospitality recently announced that it is also now offering luxury vacation lodging at the Vail Valley’s hottest new high-end property, the Lion. East West Destination Hospitality currently manages 65 homeowner associations for more than 13,000 individual owners.
