Keith ButzKeith Butz has been appointed GM of The Confidante Miami Beach, effective immediately. In his new position, Butz oversees the day-to-day operations at one of the Miami Beach hotel. Butz brings 24 years of leadership experience in hotel management and operations to Miami Beach. His hospitality career started with Hyatt at Hyatt Regency New Orleans, in various roles such as corporate management trainee and front office manager. He joins The Confidante from the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa, where he served as GM leading all hotel operations for three years. Prior to Grand Hyatt Kauai, Butz was GM at Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport, Hyatt Regency Calgary and Hyatt at Fisherman’s Wharf from 2005 through 2014. Throughout his Hyatt career, he has also held senior management positions at several luxury properties including Hyatt Regency Chicago, Park Hyatt San Francisco, Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort & Spa and Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, among others. Butz holds a bachelor of science in restaurant and hotel management from Purdue University.
