Andre Sattler has been appointed Executive Chef at Acqualina Resort & Spa
The Five Star, Five Diamond Acqualina Resort & Spa located in Miami's Sunny Isles Beach is pleased to announce the appointment of Andre Sattler as Executive Chef. Sattler will oversee the resort's food and beverage operations including the beachfront restaurant Costa Grill, banquet and event menus and the spa menu for the award-winning Acqualina Spa by ESPA. He will lead a team of 20 people.
Sattler brings more than two decades of culinary experience to Acqualina. He has worked for several leading luxury hotel brands in the United States and internationally. Most recently, he was executive sous chef at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. Sattler also held executive sous chef positions at Mandarin Oriental, Miami and Rosewood Little Dix Bay. Other career highlights include culinary positions at Mandarin Oriental Elbow Beach, Al Faisaliah Rosewood Riyadh and the Ritz Carlton Wolfsburg.
A native of Germany, Sattler studied at Breidenbacher Hof in Duesseldorf. In his free time, he enjoys photography and design and has an extensive photo gallery of food images he has shot himself. Many of his images have been published in national magazines.
