Bruce Seigel has been appointed General Manager at The Colony Palm Beach
The Colony Hotel is pleased to announce Bruce Seigel as the hotel's new General Manager. Bruce joins the Colony after his most recent assignment as the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Lake Tahoe where he led the Forbes Four Star, AAA Five Diamond property.
In his new role, he will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the 89-room luxury boutique hotel including the newly launched CPB restaurant, the recently renovated Villas at The Colony, 3,000 square feet of meeting an d event space, along with leading the long-standing legacy of community engagement at The Colony Palm Beach.
A native of Brooklyn New York and thirty-five-year veteran of the hospitality industry, Bruce has held both property and regional leadership roles throughout the United States, Caribbean and Canada. These include Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Golf Resort Naples, General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton Toronto, and Vice President for The Ritz-Carlton Hotels of the Caribbean and Mexico.
Bruce has been recognized during his career with many prestigious awards and industry engagements including serving as a member of the Resort Committee for the American Hotel Lodging Association, and Board of Director for various convention and visitors bureaus. He has received high honors from Marriott International Luxury Brands for financial achievement based on exceeding revenue and profit goals, several "Mustang Awards" for special project achievement, in addition to both "Marketing Achievement" and "Hotel of the Year" awards. Bruce is also a three-time recipient of the "Director of Sales and Marketing of the Year" award from The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company.
Bruce has been an adjunct p rofessor at Florida Gulf Coast University and served as a speaker for The Ritz-Carlton Leadership Center presenting quality and industry trends to leading Fortune 100 companies.
Bruce holds a master's degree in Public Administration and Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York. He is married with two daughters, and enjoys tennis and riding his three horses.
