Laura DeMott has been appointed General Manager at One Lakeside in Coeur d'Alene
Idaho - One Lakeside, a new luxury hotel and residence property located in beautiful Coeur d'Alene, ID, and managed by Columbia Hospitality, is thrilled to officially welcome Laura DeMott as its general manager. The property - which is set to open in August 2020 - will feature 29 exquisitely finished hotel suites and 40 residential condominiums all within easy walking distance of downtown and Lake Coeur d'Alene.
In her role, DeMott will oversee all aspects of property operations, including both hotel and residences, amenities and guest services. She will be responsible for all team members, finances, promotions and quality control. DeMott will act as an ambassador for One Lakeside and be dedicated to providing excellent guest and resident experiences.
DeMott brings over 10 years of hospitality experience to One Lakeside. Most recently, she worked as the director of front office at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa in Lahaina, Hawaii, after beginning her career trajectory as the hotel's property manager in 2007.
In 2017, DeMott accepted the assistant director of front office at The Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas where she oversaw front office operations for the 1,021 room timeshare and hotel property before returning to Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa as director of front office.
After trading beach for mountains, DeMott is excited to lead a new property and to explore the lakes, trails and mountains of northern Idaho.
