Sunni Dupree has been appointed General Manager at Hotel Effie Sandestin in Miramar Beach
The Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort announced today that Sunni Dupree has been appointed as general manager of Hotel Effie Sandestin. The property is scheduled to open on February 1, offering an unparalleled experience that exemplifies genuine Southern hospitality and exceptional service wrapped in comfortable luxury that feels like coming home.
Dupree will serve as an ambassador for Hotel Effie and will oversee all day-to-day operations for the hotel. As a mentor to staff, she will lead the hotel's team in delivering consistent, unique experiences for guests while also enhancing the quality of service. Dupree will ensure that all hotel operations are carried out professionally and to the highest level of guest service.
Dupree brings more than two decades of hospitality expertise to the table with distinguished experience in operations, food and beverage, event planning, hospitality management, customer service, and coaching. After graduating with a master's degree from Texas State University, Dupree went on to hold numerous prestigious positions at properties within major hotel brands such as Ritz Carlton, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Morgans Hotel Group, Hyatt Hotels, and Interstate Hotels and Resorts. Most recently, Dupree worked with Highgate Hotels, where she was responsible for managing hotel experiences and programming, in addition to handling operations.
