Sireena Edwards has been appointed Pastry Chef at The Seagate Hotel & Spa
Sireena Edwards joins The Seagate Hotel & Spa as the hotel's Pastry Chef with more than 18 years of experience in the pastry kitchen including roles in restaurants, country clubs and hotels. Originally from Pennsylvania, Edwards attended Pennsylvania College of Culinary in Pittsburgh, where she specialized in the pastry program. After leaving Pittsburgh, Edwards spent time interning at the Boca Raton Resort and Club and after four years, took her first Executive Pastry Chef position creating and implementing a pastry program for Broken Sound Country Club. After a few years in Georgia to open the Ridge Resort and Club, Edwards moved back to South Florida to open Riley McDermott's which later was bought by Bova Group. With four restaurants under its umbrella, including Casa Casuarina within The Versace Mansion, Bova Group named Edwards Corporate Pastry Chef. Most recently, Edwards spent the past five years as Complex Executive Pastry Chef with Starwood Hotels.
Joining The Seagate team, Edwards brings global pastry experience in delivering the highest quality of freshly baked French pastries and modern desserts. With multiple years of experience in opening new hotels, Edwards has a passion for brand and employee development and collaboration.
