Kerem Kendigelen has been appointed Hotel Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach in Miami Beach
The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach is pleased to announce Kerem Kendigelen has been appointed Hotel Manager. He joins the historic property with 18 years of experience in luxury hospitality. In his new role, Kendigelen will oversee all operations of the recently renovated iconic oceanfront resort.
Kendigelen comes to Miami from Toronto, Canada where he served as Hotel Manager at The St. Regis Hotel & Residences. While in that role, he oversaw the renovation of the property's rooms and spa as well as playing a major role in the planning and execution of the hotel's COVID-19 strategy. In addition, Kendigelen led the property to become #1 in guest satisfaction in North America.
As a leader who is passionate about creating unique and memorable experiences for guests, Kendigelen began his career in hospitality at The Ritz-Carlton, Istanbul where he served as an intern Kendigelen's talents have allowed him to hold an array of titles including Food & Beverage Director at The St. Regis, Washington, DC, General Manager at Playa Largo Resort & Spa, Florida Keys, and more.
Kendigelen holds a degree in Tourism and Hotel Management from Istanbul University, Turkey. When he is not overseeing the success of The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, Kendigelen enjoys all things wine, boasting himself as a certified level two sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers. Additionally, Kendigelen loves traveling and experiencing new restaurants and bars and being active in sports such as golf, soccer, and basketball.
