Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. proudly announces the appointment of Sherian Boyd Patterson as director of business travel and luxury sales for the 335-room iconic hotel located at 1401 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, D.C. Boyd-Patterson will lead local corporate account negotiations and business development with corporate business travelers.
As a long-time DC-area resident, Sherian brings over twenty years of sales experience within the luxury and lifestyle hospitality segment and will oversee corporate business travel and wholesale for the world-class Willard InterContinental hotel. In addition to working closely with our luxury consortia partners targeting our luxury leisure customers, Boyd-Patterson will also focus on the consortia segment and work closely with the high-end travel managers and leisure and corporate travel advisors.
Sherian joins Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C. after managing business travel, industry, and diplomatic sales for several prominent luxury hotels in DC. Boyd-Patterson's travel industry career began in 2003 at Amtrak in Washington, D.C., where she held a marketing manager position. Later, Sherian became an area sales manager for a newly renovated luxury hotel in Washington, D.C.
Sherian holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Maryland, University College. Sherian enjoys cooking for her family, performing arts, and being a dance mom in her free time.
