Aaron Ide has been appointed General Manager at Thompson Dallas
Downtown Dallas' newest luxury hotel announces Aaron Ide as the general manager of the first Thompson Hotel in Texas, located in the newly transformed iconic First National Bank building, now known as The National. Aaron's extraordinary background includes over 20 years in luxury hospitality in a variety of roles. As General Manager, he will lead the team to create innovative programming along with exceptional service focused on enhancing the guest experience.
Aaron has a deep passion for service that began in college at The School of Hospitality Business at Michigan State University. He began his career at the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and later joined the Four Seasons where he has spent the past 12 years in various Four Seasons locations throughout the US. Aaron is also a graduate of the General Managers Program at Cornell University and currently serves on the Alumni Board for Michigan State University.
Aaron, his wife Karie, and their three boys are outdoor enthusiasts. They love exploring new places, traveling the world, eating great cuisine and spending time together as a family. They are looking forward to living in Dallas and exploring and experiencing all that the city has to offer.
