Four Seasons Resort Nevis, the award-winning Resort consistently ranked by travellers and travel experts as one of the top resorts in the Caribbean, has named Picco Alapatt as the new Executive Chef. A 20-year luxury hospitality veteran, Chef Alapatt hails most recently from the Gulf Court Hotel, Business Bay, the first property in Dubai for the renowned Gulf Hotel Group, Bahrain, where he served as executive chef since its pre-opening in 2018.

In his new role as Executive Chef, Alapatt will oversee the culinary teams and operations to serve the Resort's four restaurants: On the Dune, offering an upscale yet relaxed beachside dining experience highlighted by an eclectic blend of Caribbean and American cuisines; EsQuilina, whose menu spans the coasts of the Mediterranean to the Caribbean for a culinary journey that is as rich in history and culture as it is in flavour; the waterfront Mango, which features a colourful, modern Caribbean menu in an al fresco environment; and Kastawey Beach Bar, serving up a casual, toes-in-the-sand atmosphere that blends the beachside shack with high-quality culinary offerings. Furthermore, Chef Alapatt will be responsible for the culinary experiences of beach dinners, private villa dinners and individually personalised rum pairing menus for guests opting to enhance their dining experience with the property's bespoke spirit from crowned monkey RUM BAR.

Originally from India, Chef Alapatt comes to the Caribbean for the first time after years of luxury hospitality experience across India, Africa and the Middle East. In addition to his most recent post, he also has past experience working for renowned global brands such as Fairmont, Ritz-Carlton, Taj and Jumeirah. He is a chef with a great hunger for knowledge, achievements and exposure in the food and beverage industry. In addition to multiple degrees in Food & Beverage Management, Hotel Management and Catering Science & Masters in Business Administration, Chef Alapatt is also the proud recipient of many industry awards, including "Executive Chef of the Year" 2021 (Middle East & North Africa Region).
