Daniel Gibson has been appointed Director of Resort Experience at Hawks Cay Resort

The largest resort destination in the Florida Keys, Hawks Cay Resort, announces Daniel Gibson as the newly appointed Director of Resort Experience. Gibson brings strong innovative and managerial skills to the role in which he will develop and implement new events, activities and entertainment programming at the resort.

Most recently serving as the Entertainment Director at Carnival Cruise Lines, Gibson brings more than 30 years of hospitality experience to the resort. He has held various managerial positions ranging entertainment technical manager, production manager and entertainment director at Carnival Cruise Lines and Carnival Corporate; and also brings food and beverage industry experience having been a kitchen manager and restaurant shift manager at different culinary outlets in his home state, New Hampshire.

In his role at Hawks Cay, Gibson will be responsible for the entertainment and programming selections an d execution throughout the resort, ranging daily programming like the resort's live entertainment line-up, to standing programming like events at Hawks Cay's kids club, Coral Cay. Annual celebrations like Heroes Salute, Hawks Cay Christmas, the resort's renowned Keys to Country live music series, along with new events and activities will be under Gibson's purview.

Gibson has specialized certifications from Northwood University, Boston University and International Correspondence Schools in business management and hotel restaurant management.
