Jon Keeley

The ART Hotel Denver is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jon Keeley as executive chef of FIRE Restaurant & Lounge. Chef Keeley is heating up the hotel's signature restaurant in Denver's thriving food scene, bringing a new level of creativity and innovation to the FIRE menu, as well as leading both in-room dining and catering menu development for The ART.

Chef Keeley's culinary passion started at a young age when he would stand on a stool watching and helping his grandmother make meatballs. In high school, working in a restaurant convinced the Boston native that a culinary career was his calling, and he promptly enrolled at Le Cordon Bleu in New Hampshire, where he earned his culinary degree. Upon graduation, and prior to taking the culinary reigns at The ART, Chef Keeley hon ed his skills at Four Seasons Hotel Boston's Aujourd'hui and James Beard award-winning restaurant Toro as chef de partie. After moving to Chicago, Chef Keeley joined Michelin starred Bonsoiree as chef de cuisine for a few years before moving on to Ballyhoo Hospitality Group serving as executive chef of Gemini and Walton Street Kitchen. Most recently Chef Keeley held the Culinary Director position at Sand Valley Golf resort in Wisconsin where he developed the culinary program from concept.

Chef Keeley will bring an elevated, world-class dining experience to Denver's downtown neighborhood at FIRE, with the perfect blend of culinary creativity and desire to exceed the needs and wants of his guests. "Cook like you're cooking for your mother on her birthday and everything will be okay," says Chef Keeley of his cooking mantra. Chef Keeley will continue his guest-focused culinary style at FIRE, providing thoughtfully executed approaches to the restaurant's playful yet sincere modern fare. When he is not in the kitchen or trailblazing through the dining city of Denver, Chef Keeley likes to enjoy a fine cup of coffee, hiking trails, playing golf and relaxing at live music shows.
