Ryan White has been appointed General Manager at Del Mar Beach Hotel
San Diego's newest luxury boutique hotel, Del Mar Beach Hotel, announces the appointment of General Manager Ryan White. As General Manager, White oversees all aspects of the 46-room hotel and two residences, including daily operations and revenue and reputation growth strategies. White works closely with the hotel's ownership, management company Azul Hospitality Group and the Del Mar Beach Hotel team to elevate the guest experience and introduce programming that celebrates the idyllic coastal Del Mar community.
White joins Del Mar Beach Hotel with a strong background in luxury and lifestyle hotel operations, with more than 15 years' experience working at some of San Diego's most notable hotels. Most recently, White was General Manager at the Pantai Inn, in La Jolla. Prior to that, he held positions at Embassy Suites Hilton in La Jolla and Four Seasons Residence Club Aviara, in Carlsbad. White has had multiple roles with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts Corporation, including at Hyatt Huntington Beach Resort & Spa; and Park Hyatt Resort Aviara. He began his career in hospitality at L'Auberge Del Mar, making this new role at Del Mar Beach Hotel, a return to his roots.
Beyond driving strategic revenue growth for Del Mar Beach Hotel, White is passionate about enriching the guest experience. Originally from southern California (San Fernando Valley), White graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Public Administration. His outside passions include travel, as well as golf. He currently resides in Carlsbad with his wife and two children.
