Rachel Thompson has been appointed Catering Sales & Event Manager at The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa Avon, Vail Valley
A graduate of Georgia's Armstrong State University, Thompson joins The Westin Riverfront from Vail's Sonnenalp Hotel, where she held multiple positions including serving as a Concierge, a Reservations Agent and a Manager in Training for Conference Services & Group Sales.
Owned and managed by East West Hospitality, The Westin Riverfront offers 230 guest residences, each featuring a custom kitchen, five-piece bathroom, gas fireplace and Westin Heavenly Bed.
