Yudit García has been appointed General Manager at JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo
JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo is pleased to announce the appointment of Yudit García as General Manager, at the award-winning luxury property in the Piantini District of downtown Santo Domingo.
A highly skilled hospitality professional with 15 years of experience in the Caribbean and Mexico, García has a proven track record of strong leadership, human resource development and efficient management in all aspects of the hotel's operations.
After beginning her career in 2007 at the Courtyard Santo Domingo, García moved to Mexico in 2013, where she was promoted to Human Resources Manager at the Courtyard Airport Mexico City and in 2015, she returned to Santo Domingo as the opening Director of Human Resources for the Renaissance Santo Domingo Jaragua Hotel & Casino. Before joining the JW Marriott Hotel Santo Domingo team, she served as General Manager of the Courtyard Santo Domingo.
In this new role, García will lead the dynamic luxury team to sustain the hotel's positioning as one of the most preferred destinations for the social and business elite in the country. A highly motivated executive with a commitment to excellence, Garcia is also the current Leader of Marriott's Business Council for the Caribbean and at the present she serves as the President for the Association of Hotels in Santo Domingo.
