Ross Birch has been appointed General Manager at Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection in Waimea
The Island of Hawaii's Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection announces the appointment of Ross Birch as General Manager of Mauna Lani Golf. Birch will execute Mauna Lani Golf's strategic goals while overseeing daily operations and enhancing the experiences of guests, residents and the community at large.
As a former board member, Chairman, and most recently as Executive Director, of Island of Hawai'i Visitors Bureau, Birch is at the forefront of Hawai'i tourism initiatives, developing programs and overcoming critical challenges over the past ten years. He is uniquely positioned to drive marketing efforts in a thoughtful way, possessing a keen awareness of Hawaii's local communities' relationship to responsible tourism.
Birch is a welcome addition to Mauna Lani Golf, having demonstrated his operational prowess in roles at some of Hawaii's most iconic golf courses, including Mauna Lani from 2006 to 2009. He is an established industry expert on community engagement and organization, in addition to being a passionate and active member of the Professional Golfers' Association of America (PGA).
He remains on the board of the Keohole Center for Sustainability, the Kona-Kohala Chamber of Commerce and Hawai'i Island United Way.
