HALCYON, a hotel in Cherry Creek, the 154-room boutique hotel with a modern take in Denver's chicest neighborhood, is proud to announce the appointment of McClinton Heil as general manager of hotel operations. McClinton Heil brings a decade of hospitality experience to his new role where he will take over leadership of this dynamic and high-performing team, reinforcing the brand, maximizing financial performance, guest satisfaction, and team member coaching and development. He will usher in a fresh perspective to the beloved hotel and its experiences, alongside the talented team already in place.
McClinton Heil began his career in Southern California at The Ritz Carlton, Laguna Niguel before growing to director of room operations as part of the opening team for Newport Beach's Lido House, an Autograph Collection Hotel. At Lido House, McClinton Heil's leadership guided the team to excel room revenue up to $4.5 million. He also oversaw a $15 million renovation and managed an award-winning Michael Mina restaurant at The Lodge at Sonoma Resort, another Autograph Collection Hotel. Most recently, McClinton Heil held a general manager role at the 96-room Hotel Emblem, Viceroy in San Francisco. With McClinton Heil as general manager of hotel operations, the hotel achieved and maintained the #3 TripAdvisor rating out of 251 properties in San Francisco. Today, McClinton Heil will lead the HALCYON team with his poised professionalism to exceed goals and guest satisfaction on the daily.
Born and raised in San Clemente, Calif., McClinton Heil earned a degree in business from California State University, San Marcos. He is excited to land in Denver, Colorado with his wife, Brie, daughter, Lennon, and son, Easton. Together, they love to play golf, run, swim, eat delicious food and travel internationally.
