Robert Lowe has been appointed General Manager at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid

Mandarin Oriental announced the appointment of Robert Lowe to the role of General Manager at Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid. Lowe will also maintain his current role as Area Vice President Operations, taking charge of operations at Mandarin Oriental, Barcelona, Mandarin Oriental, Canouan, as well as the soon-to-open Mandarin Oriental, Costa Navarino.
Lowe, a seasoned hotelier with a track record of over 30 years in the industry, was formerly the General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, New York. His contributions were pivotal in augmenting business outcomes and enhancing service and product quality at the hotel. He also oversaw operations as the Area Vice President, at Mandarin Oriental, Boston, and Mandarin Oriental, Santiago, as well as at The Residences at Mandarin Oriental, Fifth Avenue New York, and Beverly Hills.
Lowe's career journey with the Group began in 1999, when he was appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco. In 2005, he was promoted to Hotel Manager, and held similar roles in Washington and New York. He then proceeded to serve as the General Manager of Mandarin Oriental, Atlanta, and later, Mandarin Oriental Miami in 2016.
By 2018, Lowe's role broadened to encompass responsibilities of Area Vice President Operations overseeing Mandarin Oriental, Santiago and the development of Mandarin Oriental, Boca Raton.
Lowe, an Argentina native, earned his bachelor's degree in Hotel and Restaurant management from Slough Polytechnic in England.
