Mazen Allam has been named the new General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, effective from September 2023. With a deep-seated knowledge of luxury hospitality and a profound grasp of the Saudi Arabian market, Allam's appointment is poised to enhance the hotel's executive team.
Educated at Prince Sultan College in Jeddah, where he earned a degree in Hotels and Tourism Management, Allam brings a wealth of experience that underscores The Ritz-Carlton Riyadh's stature as a premium luxury destination in Saudi Arabia.
Beginning his illustrious journey in the hospitality realm at Le Meridien Jeddah in 2002, Allam's initial position at the front desk quickly transitioned due to his exceptional skills. By 2009, his keen commercial insights had propelled him to the role of Assistant Director of Sales.
By 2011, he transitioned to the Rosewood Jeddah, contributing significantly to its ascent as a top-tier luxury establishment in Jeddah. Initially taking on the mantle of Director of Sales & Marketing, Allam's consistent leadership prowess led to his elevation as General Manager in 2018. His string of successes didn't stop there, as by 2021 he assumed a regional position as Managing Director, directing new development ventures throughout the kingdom.
