Larry Costakis has been appointed VP Construction and Development. at First Hospitality
David Duncan, president and CEO of First Hospitality, a national hotel management and development company, announces the appointment of Larry Costakis as vice president of construction and development. Costakis brings over 25 years of experience in construction to this leadership position. As vice president of construction and development, Costakis will lead the First Hospitality Construction and Development Division. His responsibilities include project management, quality assurance, strategic planning, as well as fostering owner and partner relationships.
Costakis has extensive hospitality experience, and has overseen more than 100 hotel construction projects in key construction leadership positions with stayAPT, AJ Capital Partners, and Extended Stay America. Beyond the hotel industry, Costakis has showcased his expertise in multi-family and self-storage projects during his tenure as Vice President of Construction for Banner Real Estate Group. Furthermore, he has held the position of Director of Construction for Brunswick Corporation - Bowling & Billiards, and served as a Project Executive with Burling Builders.
Costakis holds a Master of Business Administration from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Purdue University. In his free time, Costakis enjoys sailing, hiking, skiing, and spending time with his family.
