Tibor Horvath has been appointed General Manager at InterContinental Fujairah Resort

InterContinental Fujairah Resort has announced the appointment of Tibor Horvath as general manager. Horvath will undertake strategic responsibility as GM of InterContinental Fujairah Resort by overseeing all resort activity, maintaining hotel standards, and creating a community for guests.
Horvath brings 23 years of international hotel operation and management experience, including hotel openings, de-flagging, rebranding, F&B concept change, renovation, repositioning and crisis management.
Horvath has worked with renowned hospitality brands in the UAE, Egypt, Thailand, Indonesia, and Oman.
In 1999, he joined JW Marriott Dubai as assistant executive pastry chef, moving up to the position of food & beverage manager. He also worked as the restaurant & bars manager in 2004 at Courtyard by Marriott Green Community Dubai after which he joined Renaissance Hotel Alexandria, Egypt as director of food & beverage.
In 2010, he moved as director of food and beverage with Anantara Seminyak Bali. A part of the IHG brand since 2010, Horvath started as director of food & beverage with Crowne Plaza Dubai-Deira and InterContinental Muscat swiftly climbing up the ranks as hotel manager at Crowne Plaza Bangkok Lumpini Park and finally took over as general manager at InterContinental Koh Samui resort in Thailand which was the last property he led before joining InterContinental Fujairah Resort as its general manager.
