Austin Gardner has been appointed Vice President of Business Development at Staypineapple Hotels Inc.
Staypineapple Hotels Inc., a Pacific Northwest based hotel brand and property management company - most notably recognized for its management of the 10 Staypineapple hotels across the United States - announces the addition of Austin Gardner to the organization's Business Development team.
Austin brings over 13 years of hospitality Sales & Marketing experience to Staypineapple Hotels Inc., specifically working with independent brands in the upscale and luxury hotel segments, including oversight of Condé Nast's #4 ranked hotel in the Pacific Northwest. Most recently, Austin served as Regional Vice President of Sales for Oxford Collection Hotels, where he conducted key negotiations and successfully led the sales organization, generating nearly $1 billion in revenue during his tenure. In addition to his work leading the sales efforts for Oxford Collection, Austin was instrumental in expanding the company's hotel portfolio by over 30% through involvement in strategic acquisitions and ground-up development projects.
This announcement comes less than one week before the Americas Lodging Investment Summit (ALIS) in Los Angeles, where Austin will join members of Staypineapple Hotels Inc.'s Executive Leadership Team as they present the organization's brand licensing and property management capabilities.
