Mr. Uwe Kunz has consistently proven himself as a distinguished leader in the hospitality sector, having held various pivotal positions in food & beverage, front office, operations, and, most notably, as a General Manager since 2011. Throughout his illustrious career, Mr. Kunz has demonstrated an exceptional ability to provide impeccable guidance and invaluable leadership skills essential for operating a top-tier luxury hotel.
In 2017, Mr. Kunz expanded his horizons by taking the helm as the Opening General Manager for LOTTE HOTEL St. Petersburg, a flagship property under the internationally renowned LOTTE HOTELS & Resorts chain. Under his guidance, this ambitious landmark property achieved the coveted Five Star Award by Forbes Travel Guide. Mr. Kunz oversaw the intricate construction and design of the hotel while imparting his extensive knowledge to a team of over 200 members.
Following his successful tenure in St. Petersburg, Mr. Kunz assumed the role of General Manager at LOTTE HOTEL MOSCOW, a member of Leading Hotels of the World, in 2021. Leveraging his vast international experience and exceptional management skills, he led a world-class hotel team in enhancing LOTTE HOTEL Moscow's already sterling reputation. His tenure at the Moscow property resulted in a slew of accolades, including the prestigious Best Luxury Hotel in Russia awards from both the Haute Grandeur Awards and the World Luxury Awards.
