Kierra Moore has been promoted Hotel Manager at Arlo Chicago
Arlo Hotels, an independent, experience-driven lifestyle hotel brand with properties in New York, Miami and Chicago (and launching in Washington, D.C., in summer 2024), today announced Kierra Moore's promotion from director of operations to hotel manager at Arlo Chicago. Moore will continue to oversee the operational duties and departments and help further grow the brand through the Chicago property, which opened in April 2023.
Kierra, a Chicago native, holds more than 10 years of experience in the hospitality industry, working in various leadership, operational, director and audit roles for prestigious hotel brands such as The Public Chicago, Hiltons at McCormick Place, Highgate, and DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago Magnificent Mile. Prior to that, Kierra joined the US Marine corps focusing on aviation mechanics in Miramar. After eight years of serving her country, Kierra felt the desire to explore other passions. She was a natural fit for the hospitality industry thanks to her core values of integrity, ownership, leadership, and teamwork.
Her first job out of the marines brought her in the food & beverage industry before transitioning into the night audit role and eventually into operational roles before joining Arlo Chicago in August 2023 as director of operations. In less than a year, the inspired veteran and mother of four continued to impress Arlo's principals leading her into a hotel manager role as of recently.
In her new role, Kierra will strategically lead Arlo Chicago's day to day operations and its team members amongst other responsibilities, while also creating an authentic Arlo Hotels ethos in Chicago.
