Jean-Marie Le Gall has been appointed General Manager at The Woodward in Geneva
Oetker Collection is pleased to announce that Jean-Marie Le Gall has been appointed General Manager of The Woodward in Geneva. He commenced his role on April 3rd 2024.
A highly respected hotelier with exemplary leadership skills, in Le Gall's most recent role as General Manager for Hotel Fouquet's Paris, he demonstrated an ability to deliver outstanding results inclusive of taking on the responsibility of Acting General Manager for the opening of the hotel brand's New York outpost.
A French native, who is fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Arabic, Le Gall has an impressive background in cross-functional team management, project planning, economic analysis, and total quality management. Le Gall's tenure as Director of Sales and Marketing at prestigious establishments such as the Plaza Athénée Paris and Le Royal Monceau - Raffles Paris further highlight his extensive skillset.
Located on Quai Wilson on the shores of Lake Geneva and offering a panoramic view of Mont Blanc, The Woodward marks Oetker Collection's first masterpiece hotel in Switzerland. Originally built in 1901 in a post-Haussmann style, following an extraordinary renovation by renowned architect Pierre-Yves Rochon, today the hotel boasts 26 suites, which are complemented by two gourmet restaurants, the two Michelin-starred L'Atelier Robuchon and Le Jardinier, a bar, a private cigar lounge, as well as a 1200m² Guerlain Spa and a private sports club.
