French Rankin

As General Manager of Food and Beverage Operations, Rankin is responsible for overseeing all Food and Beverage operations, including the hotel's live music venue, Analog, and the newest addition to the property, Evelyn's, an Americana-inspired culinary destination. His vision for the hotel's dining experiences emphasizes local farm-to-table freshness, exceptional hospitality, and strong local partnerships. Introducing Evelyn's to the local Nashville community, Rankin intends to upkeep the restaurant's elevated and unique atmosphere, one that was inspired by its namesake, Evelyn Sharp. Rankin's passion for creating memorable experiences aligns perfectly with the hotel's dedication to quality.

Originally from a small town in northwest Nebraska, Rankin pursued his culinary passion at the Scottsdale Culinary Institute before embarking on a successful career that spans multiple high-profile roles. Rankin's extensive experience includes serving as General Manager at The Palm in Nashville, where he managed an annual revenue of $9.4 million and led a team of over 100 associates. He also owned and operated Samuel's by Chef French in Chattanooga, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit and culinary expertise.
