Dania Duke

Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, the brand's first lodging location in a mountain destination, is excited to announce the appointment of Dania Duke as Managing Director. The new resort, nestled at the base of Tahoe's Heavenly Mountain Resort in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, is the only all-suite resort in the South Lake Tahoe basin promising an unforgettable experience in one of the most picturesque settings in the country.

In her new role, Duke will oversee all aspects of the resort's operations, focusing on delivering exceptional guest satisfaction, enhancing operational efficiencies and fostering a positive work environment. With over 30 years of hospitality experience, Duke's expertise spans across luxury resort operations, food and beverage innovation, and project management. Her passion for creating memorable experiences for guests and team members, as well as enhancing service results among teams while driving profit and flow, make her the perfect fit for this role.

Duke comes to Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe from Davidson Resorts, which now manages Margaritaville Resort Lake Tahoe, where she served as the vice president area managing director, overseeing the Davenport Hotel Collection in Spokane, Washington. Prior to that, she served as the area general manager for Davidson Resorts, overseeing the Hilton San Diego Gaslamp Quarter and Hotel Solamar. Duke's extensive career also includes leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, having managed 14 Four Diamond Resort and Leisure properties throughout the United States, British West Indies and the Hawaiian islands, as well as participating in the opening of 10 new hotels. She has a proven track record in driving service results, revenue growth, and implementing innovative management systems, including her work with Stanford University's Design Thinking program.
