Lindsay Whalen has been appointed Director of Food & Beverage at Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown
Born and raised in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, Whalen started working in the hospitality industry at 15 years old, after looking for a job to supplement school costs. Whalen states that's where she "fell in love with how fast-paced, challenging, and ever-changing the industry could be." Later Whalen obtained a BA in Music Industry/Vocal Performance at Northeastern University, where she combined her lifelong experience with her studies in music and business to increase revenue for each hotel and restaurant that she has worked in since, by maintaining musical bookings and curating events. She credits her love of the industry, the life-long friendships she's forged, along with passion and dedication being the driving force behind her 25-year tenure in the hospitality scene.
Whalen's experience ranges from advanced management positions to front-of-house hourly experience. Her vast repertoire positions her perfectly to take on her new role as Director of Food and Beverage at Tempo by Hilton Nashville Downtown.
