Aditya Shamsher Malla has been appointed General Manager at The Danna Langkawi Resort

The Danna Langkawi Resort & Beach Villas, an esteemed member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Aditya Shamsher Malla as its new General Manager, effective August 2024. Aditya, a highly regarded hospitality professional, brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to excellence, making him an invaluable addition to The Danna team.

Aditya is a seasoned professional with over three decades of extensive experience in the hospitality industry. His illustrious career spans various high-profile roles, including operating, pre-opening, renovating, converting, repositioning, and relaunching branded hotels. Aditya has successfully led teams across diverse destinations, both leisure and business, and has been instrumental in cultivating service-led, values-driven cultures.

Aditya has worked with some of the most prestigious brands, including Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Taj Luxury Hotels, Shangri-La, Hyatt Regency, The Westin, Marriot International, and Hilton. He has spearheaded sales and marketing efforts for some of the finest luxury and MICE hotels and delivered operational excellence as General Manager. Most recently, he served as the General Manager in Indonesia, transitioning it to full service following acquisition and conversion from Accor.

His educational background includes advanced courses in strategic leadership and management from esteemed institutions, including the Indian School of Business and IIM Bengaluru. He is an alumnus of Delhi University, graduating with honours in Economics, and holds a PGDM in Human Resources from IMT Ghaziabad.
