Katell Bourgeois named VP Development France at Accor
As of September 2, Katell Bourgeois has taken on the role of overseeing the growth of Accor's Premium, Midscale, and Economy brands within France, a crucial market for the company.
Now based in Paris, she joins the Development Leadership Team under the guidance of Philippe Bijaoui, the Chief Development Officer for Europe and North Africa. Her key responsibility is to boost the group's expansion efforts in one of the fastest-growing regions across all hotel categories.
Bringing nearly two decades of expertise in the hospitality real estate sector, primarily with global organizations, Katell Bourgeois offers extensive knowledge and insight into the market.
Prior to joining Accor, she headed the French division of Cushman & Wakefield Hospitality since 2019 and spent almost 15 years in various significant roles at JLL Hotels, including Senior Vice President of Corporate Transactions.
Katell Bourgeois holds a Bachelor's degree in Hotel and Tourism Management from CMH and an MBA in Hospitality Management from the IMHI program at Cornell University Essec Business School, which she completed in 2005. Her skills and experience are seen as key assets to Accor as the company continues to enhance its presence and market positioning in France with its leading brands.
