With an illustrious international career in the global luxury hospitality industry, Richardson has been an integral part of Aurora's growth and success since joining the resort in August of 2023. In his new role, he will continue to bring a wealth of expertise to elevate Aurora's operations and offerings, further establishing it as a leading luxury resort in the Caribbean.
A veteran in luxury hospitality, Richardson dedicated his life's work to building visions and inspiring teams to out-deliver results while growing profitability for the brands and their owners. He's a dedicated, creative and passionate leader who believes that the recipe for success lies not only in identifying and staying ahead of the travel industry trends, but also in investing in the right people and giving him the opportunity for collective growth and recognition.
Richardson's love for hospitality began in a small family run hotel in the highlands of Scotland, where he learned the value of hard work and dedication. From there, he went on to honing his craft at world-class luxury brands across Australasia, China and EMEA, including Waldorf Astoria, Shangri-La, Fairmont, and many other global hotel leaders.
His unwavering commitment to excellence and savvy business acumen, where understanding the balance of running a profitable operation while delivering an excellent guest experience, is what makes Richardson uniquely equipped for his new role.
Outside of work, he enjoys the splendors of a tranquil island life with his family.
