Rob Van Eyck

The Savoy in London has appointed Rob Van Eyck as its new hotel manager, starting in January 2025. Van Eyck will join from Rocco Forte's The Balmoral in Edinburgh, where he successfully led the hotel to achieve prestigious accolades, including Two Keys from Michelin and Forbes five-star status. In his new position, Van Eyck will collaborate closely with regional vice president and managing director Franck Arnold, who has been with The Savoy for over four years. Together, they will focus on continuing to uphold The Savoy's renowned guest experience and further building on the hotel's legacy.

Van Eyck's arrival coincides with a period of significant transformation for The Savoy. By January, the hotel will have re-opened its re-imagined Thames Foyer, and the first phase of guest room renovations will be nearing completion. Additionally, this November, The Savoy will launch a new dining venue and two retail outlets, with further room refurbishments scheduled to be revealed next summer. Arnold expressed his excitement about welcoming Van Eyck, noting his extensive experience in the luxury hotel sector, which will help elevate The Savoy's legendary service to even greater heights.
