Beachcomber Resorts & Hotels is pleased to announce the appointment of Patrice Landrein as General Manager of Royal Palm Beachcomber Luxury, succeeding Isabelle Bouvier, who has led this iconic hotel in Mauritius for the past three years. He took on his new role on October 3, 2024.

With nearly 30 years of experience in international luxury hospitality, French national Patrice Landrein has distinguished himself in renowned Parisian palaces such as the Ritz and Hôtel de Crillon. His career also includes positions at prestigious hotels like The Savoy in London, Plaza Athénée in New York, and several of Asia's top luxury establishments.

Patrice Landrein, a graduate in hotel management, began his career as a trainee receptionist and worked his way up to managing several high-end hotels. At just 26, he joined the management team of the five-star Manapany Hotel in St. Barth, in the Caribbean. In 2013, he embarked on a new chapter in Asia, including roles in Vietnam and Thailand. Most recently, he managed Pimalai Resort & Spa on the iconic island of Koh Lanta, where he elevated the resort to the top luxury hotel in Thailand and one of the top 10 in the world, according to TripAdvisor.

Committed to sustainable development, Landrein spearheaded the Green Globe certification of Pimalai Resort & Spa and launched an ambitious coral preservation program. His impressive journey now brings him to lead the Royal Palm, a member of the Leading Hotels of the World and a flagship of luxury hospitality in Mauritius.

Known for his visionary leadership and dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences, the new General Manager is expected to bring fresh perspectives to this legendary hotel.
