Fred DeMicco is the former Executive Director and currently a Professor in the School of Hotel and Restaurant Management at Northern Arizona University.

Dr. Fred DeMicco is also the David Michael Meeks Visiting Scholar to the Kemmons Wilson School (KWS) of Hospitality & Resort Management, at the University of Memphis.

Dr. DeMicco is also the Honorary President of International Academics and the Dean of Business Executive and Professional Programs at the Learning Campus in Tuscany (SIAF Campus in the Province of Pisa).

Dr. Fred DeMicco has worked in Healthcare at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston and at Walt Disney World in hospitality management where he also obtained a Ductorate Degree from Disney University, Orlando.

Dr. DeMicco’ scholarly interests are in; International Strategic Management & Trends and Medical Tourism/Travel and Health.

He has also been employed by Aramark International, Marriott Vacation Club International and several healthcare operations including assisted living facilities.

He has authored or co-authored nearly 100 refereed articles in strategic management, and he has co-authored several books including: Medical Tourism and Wellness with Apple Academic Press/Taylor Francis and Strategic Management with Kendall- Hunt.
