Mark Whitney

Mark Whitney is Managing Director of CBRE's Property & Transaction Tax Services platform, which provides administrative and technical expertise to reduce property tax burdens for clients pre- and post-acquisition. Mr. Whitney is responsible for all aspects of managing the practice including strategic planning, budgeting, staff selection and development, property tax appeal operations, customer services, and new acquisition due diligence. He has more than 20 years of experience in state and local tax advisement working with some of the most successful real estate organizations in the U.S. Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Whitney was an Area Leader and Senior Managing Consultant at Paradigm Tax Group where he had oversight of the firm’s operations in 12 states throughout the Western U.S.
