Spencer Tarring

With a diverse background in entrepreneurship, tech startups, fundraising, and web3.0, Spencer has honed his expertise in business execution and strategy development. He founded his first tech company in 1997, which quickly evolved into a hosting provider that scaled to operate 3 x 15,000 sqft custom-built N+1 data centres. Spencer played a key role in the design and construction of these facilities, leading the sales team until 2008 before stepping down in preparation for a successful exit in 2011 for £23m GBP.

In 2012, Spencer ventured into the music industry, becoming a DJ and Music Director for the renowned nightlife spot M1NT Shanghai. His passion for music led to the launch of PYROMUSIC.com, a music streaming service for China, where he negotiated licensing deals with major companies like Tencent and Netease. Spencer entered the crypto space in 2015, leveraging his data center experience to set up mining facilities for himself and over 100 investors with a net investment of $8m USD.

In 2021, Spencer shifted his focus to the world of NFTs, GameFi, and web3.0 adoption. His platform incubated two additional projects, one of which was Rendezverse, which he subsequently acquired. As the now CEO of Rendezverse, Spencer has a vision to transform web3 and create the next generation of websites (metaverses), offering immersive, interactive experiences that blend the digital and physical realms.
