Karim Malak

In 2021 Karim Malak was appointed CEO for easyHotel, the fast-growing, environmentally conscious international hotel chain with a focus on the ‘affordable’ segment of the market. Prior to easyHotel, Karim led Adagio Aparthotels, a European leader with 120 aparthotels, for five years. As CEO, Karim oversaw a highly successful strategic growth plan and led the internationalisation of the business, which saw it open 40 new locations and double its EBITDA. Before he joined the hospitality sector, Karim had an extensive career in consulting, including with Accenture and the Boston Consulting Group. He also founded the revenue management software business, Mereo. Karim was educated at the Ecole Centrale Paris and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
