Paul Burrows

With close to two decades of experience in terrestrial laser scanning, Paul Burrows serves as Hexagon’s Geosystems Reality Capture division Principal Software Solutions Manager. He champions the company's reality capture hardware and software solutions, with strong knowledge around software workflows for a variety of industries. Burrows has been with Leica Geosystems for over 15 years in a variety of roles. Kicking off his career as HDS Key Account Manager back in 2007, Burrows soon progressed to UK Sales Manager, EMEA Business Manager and then in 2017 as Product Manager where he briefly moved to California before returning to the UK. He holds a Batchelor of Science (1st Class with Honours) in Archaeology from Bournemouth University and completed a one-year study programme at the National Centre for Computer Animation. Most recently, Burrows became a Get Kids into Survey Ambassador where he openly shares his knowledge and passion for technology. Burrows hands-on skills, industry experience and laser scanning relevant roles position him as a leader in Hexagon’s mission to deliver an autonomously intelligent, digitally accessible and infinitely connected future enabled by reality capture technologies.
