Joan Lladó

Joan Lladó (Ibiza, Spain) founded STAY in 2009 when, while staying at a resort in Cancun (Mexico), he realized that to reserve any product, dinner, order room service, towels, or a hammock, he had to walk to a reception desk or use paper. With a smartphone in hand (only 10% of the population had one at that time), he thought of creating a company that would develop apps with all kinds of functionalities for guests during their hotel stays.

Today, with almost the entire planet using a smartphone in their daily lives, STAY is one of the leading Guest Experience OS in the international scene, with +1,200 hotels in its portfolio.
