Steve Schrope

Steve Schrope is a Director in our Project Management business. He brings 20+ years of experience in architecture, development, and construction, with a focus on hospitality projects. Steve’s expertise includes brand selection and analysis, feasibility analysis, programming and site selection, project conceptualization and branding, cost estimating, strategic planning, entitlement, design and engineering management, permitting, FF&E procurement, construction management, pre-opening management, operational integrations, insurance claim management, and disaster recovery. His experiences spans various project types including ground-up developments, capital improvements and PIP renovations, rebranding and repositioning renovations, historic and adaptive reuse projects, and facility repairs and restorations. Steve has worked across all major brand families, from upscale hotels through luxury resort properties, in locations from island resorts to urban infill properties. Prior to CBRE, Steve was a Vice President at JLL where he led the hospitality project management specialty practice for the Southeast, U.S. Before JLL, he was Director of Development for Legacy Ventures, a vertically integrated Atlanta-based hospitality firm that concepts, develops, owns, and operates hotels and restaurants. In that role, Steve managed and self-performed hotel and restaurant design, development, new construction, and renovations.
