Basak Denizci Guillet

Basak Denizci Guillet is a Professor of Revenue Management at the Department of Tourism, Sport & Hotel Management, Griffith University. Her research interests are behavioural economics, revenue management applications and women leadership in hospitality. My research centers on revenue management and its implementation in global hospitality and tourism organizations. In an effort to expand the focus of my research to benefit a variety of stakeholders, my research draws from behavioral economics, marketing, consumer behavior, and classical economics. I aim to investigate how organizations make pricing decisions and implement revenue management strategies, as well as how consumers respond to these decisions. By exploring these topics, I hope to provide practical and timely insight on the challenges and opportunities that revenue management presents for the industry, and provide insights that can help improve operational efficiency and profitability.
