Michael DiPrima

Michael DiPrima is the Co-Head of National Hotel Partners and Executive Vice President overseeing the West Region. In this position, he drives CBRE’s institutionally focused hotel capital markets teams to capitalize on their extensive regional market expertise. Based in Newport Beach, his focus is on hospitality related investment sales, along with the debt and equity placement throughout the Americas. Since joining CBRE In May of 2020, Michael has been involved in over $3 Billion of hotel transactions including the Marriott Newport Beach, Hotel Irvine and Estancia La Jolla. Prior to joining CBRE, Michael served as Managing Director of the Hodges Ward Elliott (HWE) Los Angeles office. Over his 15 years at HWE, he built his portfolio of more than $10 billion in hospitality transactions while facilitating dispositions, financing assignments, valuations and other engagements - including the opening of their Los Angeles office in 2015. During his five years in LA, he spearheaded over $3 billion in hospitality transactions in the Western U.S. alone, including notable properties such as the Bacara Resort and Spa (Santa Barbara, CA), the James Hotel (West Hollywood, CA), the Hyatt Regency (Indian Wells, CA) and the Pasea Hotel and Spa (Huntington Beach, CA). Michael was raised in Atlanta, GA before venturing west to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University. While at Pepperdine, Michael was a four-year letterman and co-captain of the nationally ranked men’s golf team. He currently resides in Newport Beach, CA with his wife and children.
