Matthew Gray, Valor Hospitality Global's VP of Culinary, formerly served as Executive Chef at Inverlochy Castle Hotel, Scotland, where he earned Michelin Stars for nine consecutive years and was named Decanter Magazine's 'Restaurant of the Year' in 2003. In 2009, he was recruited by renowned French Chef Albert Roux to open Chez Roux in Houston, Texas, where it was voted 'Best New Restaurant' under his leadership. Now, with 11 years at Valor Hospitality Partners, Chef Gray has spearheaded the development of numerous high-street restaurant concepts across the USA and UK, winning multiple awards for exceptional dining experiences. Collaborating closely with Valor co-founder and CEO Euan McGlashan, he has been instrumental in bringing local guests back to hotel dining by crafting unique culinary offerings. Today, he continues to lead Valor's culinary vision, ensuring excellence in every dining experience across their global portfolio.
