The one-day workshop will stress on the need and importance of putting IT into HospitalITty - and will be devoted entirely to discussing ways of enhancing customer experience through effective use and deployment of technology, helping differentiate and drive business to a Hotel, culminating in a ROT - Return On Technology.

With Hong Kong now in recovery mode after the unfortunate outbreak of SARS, and keen to get back on track as soon as possible with life and business, the timing of the workshop could not be better.

This whole day event will showcase products and presentations from some of the world's leading Technology Companies such as AVAYA Systimax, Cisco Systems, HP, Hutchison Telecom, iMagic, inter-touch, Micros-Fidelio and Roctec. These companies all have a focus on the hospitality industry and understand what it takes to help businesses especially under these trying conditions. It promises to be a unique event as the workshop will provide a valuable platform to exchange ideas at a time when the industry is hoping to bounce back and is searching for opportunities to invest money wisely to upgrade its services and attract customers.

The Keynote Speaker will be Mr. James Liu - Executive Director - Hong Kong Hotels Association.

In addition to learning about what is happening in the fascinating world of tech, Pertlink is organizing this workshop to give participants a unique opportunity to network and share experiences with peers from the industry that has been generally regarded as one of the worst hit by SARS. There is also a chance to win "must have" gadgets during a Lucky Draw.

Attendance is free and restricted to bona fide hospitality operators; registration details as well as the Agenda can be found at: www.pertlink.net.

The show originally scheduled to coincide with HOFEX 2003, will be a pre-cursor to HOFEX 2004 now scheduled to run from FEB 10-14 2004 at The Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre at which time, the next Hospitality Technology Workshop and CIO Forum will be held.
