Optimum Settings ii - Room Setups/Marketing/Training Program Announced
TUCSON, AZ - June 22, 2001 Today CEO Software Inc., announced the release of OPTIMUM SETTINGS ii version 4.1, a dynamic 32 bit software program for the hospitality and event management industry to replace its widely used 16 bit program. Donald Cozzetti, COO, stated that " i i " in the name reflects the program's Internet capabilities and expanded Intelligence in the Optimizer feature. We've retained the program's Intuitiveness, but adding a third ' i ' would come very close to stuttering a well recognized brand name."
OPTIMUM SETTINGS ii is the "Swiss Knife" for function space management. It is a tool, which easily creates dimensionally accurate setups for interior or exterior use. It switches from Standard to Metric measurements, or English to Japanese, on the fly. It improves a vendor's marketing with its multi-media capabilities; that is, a file may attach to an object for instant displaying of photos, drawings, maps, 360' views of a room from floor to ceiling.
"A picture is worth a thousand words " is effectively demonstrated with this feature..
As a communications and training tool the recognized symbols are easily understood for the accurate placement of furnishings, equipment and the seating placement of guests. Complete information on an event/activity is transferable via email or in HTML format, including the inventory items used as represented on the drawing. OPTIMUM SETTINGS ii is widely used by Meeting Planners, Convention Center Managers, and Sales & Catering departments to effectively convey a customer's setup requests to their respective staff.
Facilities can create unlimited floor plans, Square, Oval, "L", "T", Rectangular with interior fixed/air walls and/or curved walls. OPTIMUM SETTINGS ii automatically draws to a room's maximum capacity for the 15 most popular seating setups: banquet, 1/2/ moon, class room, theater, conference, "U" shaped or exhibition space. Several "Wizards" allows manipulations of setups per a customer's specific requirements.
The Guest Event Management [ GEM ] feature assigns seating by table and seat number, and includes the guest's individual food service preferences. It also creates a variety of
nametags and table tents with a company's graphics on standard Avery labels.
OPTIMUM SETTINGS is the exclusive graphic software used by Professional Convention Managers Association ( PCMA ) for its Space Verification Program. A facility's space is verified by an independent architect as to the detailed architectural features of a space, e.g. sizes of doors, pillars, windows, air walls etc. The verified floor plans are available from PCMA's web site at no cost to meeting planners who can use the plans to create their unique seating requirements with assurance as to capacity and placement.
