CorTec Software, Connecting Foodservice Operations, Now Available
Culinary Software Services Releases a Foodservice Software Solution for Multi-Unit & Complex Operations
BOULDER, Colo. / Sept. 4, 2001--Culinary Software Services has released CorTec Software.
CorTec takes foodservice technology to another level, providing a total communication solution. With CorTec, corporations can administer recipe and menu costing and inventory control between a corporate office and widely dispersed multi-unit locations using the internet or standard LAN.
CorTec is built on the functionality of the award-winning ChefTec software, which includes recipe and menu costing, inventory control, purchasing and ordering, and nutritional analysis. Additional functionality includes requisition and transfer of inventory with automatic adjustment of inventory on hand.
"CorTec is both evolutionary based on its ChefTec beginnings and revolutionary by virtue of using the internet to communicate between distributed databases," said Brian Bennett, President of Culinary Software Services.
CorTec was developed to save time and money for multi-unit foodservice operations. An implementation of CorTec would typically require one centrally located CorTec program and a number of remote ChefTec Clients. The communication ability of CorTec allows multi-unit operations to maintain a consistent, cost-effective and quality product. For instance, remote locations can be instantly updated with newly developed recipe concepts from the corporate office. New inventory items and inventory price changes can be sent from a central location to multi-unit locations, and requisitions and transfers can be used to manage the movement of product between different locations and storerooms.
