ROME, Aug. 5 /MICROS Systems, Inc. MCRS, a leading provider of information technology solutions for the hospitality industry, has installed its MICROS Enterprise Management solution at the first 10 Bingo Gaming Operations managed by CODERE Italia, a division of Madrid-based CODERE. The MICROS Enterprise Management solution is comprised of the MICROS 3700 Point-of-Sale system, the Product Management Back Office system, and Enterprise Software for Management and Control.

The rollout started in February 2002 with the opening of the "Bingo Re" in Rome, the first Bingo operations ever in Italy. Using 12 MICROS Eclipse Workstations, 53 waiters serve an area of more than 33,000 square feet with more than 1,000 seats. To date, 10 sites have been installed with the MICROS Enterprise Management System with the potential of another 40 sites over the next 12-18 months.
