Antoinette Klute-Wetterauer, President of the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef, Receives 'Special Award' Hotelier of the Year 2004 Award in Germany
The International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn receives the "Special Award' - HOTELIER OF THE YEAR 2004. On the 29th of January 2004, Mrs. Antoinette Klute-Wetterauer, President of the International University of Applied Sciences Bad Honnef · Bonn, accepted the 'Special Award', as representative of the University, which was given as a part of the HOTELIER OF THE YEAR 2004 award. This year's winner of the prize HOTELIER OF THE YEAR 2004 was Katja Trescher, owner of the Parkhotel Adler in Hinterzarten.
In order to make the industry structure and current trends visible, up to three entrepreneur personalities, who have made an outstanding presence in the German hotel trade, can be distinguished annually.
The prize applies to the entrepreneurs and/or the managers acting as entrepreneurs and their continuous personal and business achievement. Criterion for choosing the prize-winner are based on whether the achievements have had an important influence on the development of the hotel trade and thus have become trend-setting.
In addition, the jury can present up to two Special Awards for outstanding achievements in the fields surrounding the hospitality industry, for an amazing and successful business idea, or for the promotion of young people at institutions in this industry.
The jury, consisting of up to ten considerable industry connoisseurs, is appointed by the founder, Deutscher Fachverlag (German Publishing House), Frankfurt/Main, for three years. The honor is not endowed.
