This luxurious hotel is the first Conrad opening in Japan. It combines the legendary Conrad excellence with traditional Japanese comfort and hospitality. Exemplary in its architecture and interior design, the hotel occupies the top ten floors of the Tokyo Shiodome Building, a 37-storey multi-purpose tower offering panoramic views over Hamarikyu Gardens, Rainbow Bridge and Tokyo Bay.

Conrad Tokyo caters for corporate and leisure markets, featuring 290 luxurious rooms - of which 68 are suites - and setting impressive new industry standards with a minimum room size of 48m², three-metre high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling picture windows. Depending on their aspect, the ambience of the bedrooms has either a 'city' or a 'garden' theme, with exclusively fragranced and designed amenities to match. Other features include a 37-inch plasma screen television with satellite channels, DVD player, video-on-demand, wired and wireless high-speed internet access and cordless phones for use throughout the hotel. Every bathroom features a freestanding bath, a rain-shower, two basins and a separate lavatory.

Conrad Tokyo's banquet facilities are the largest in Shiodome and include two state-of-the-art ballrooms and six banquet and meeting rooms, all with the latest audio-visual equipment. The wedding chapel, finished in white granite and mother of pearl, evokes an image of clarity and purity and provides an idyllic setting for a glamorous ceremony.

Dining at Conrad Tokyo is exceptional. London's legendary 3-Michelin star chef, Gordon Ramsay, has chosen Conrad Tokyo to launch his first venture in Japan. There are four restaurants and one bar & lounge, the highlights being the modern French restaurant 'Gordon Ramsay at Conrad Tokyo' and the brasserie 'Cerise by Gordon Ramsay'. With open kitchens, the restaurants do full justice to Ramsay's talents and offer complementary fine dining and all-day dining experiences.

The Chinese restaurant "China Blue" features a spectacular 8-metre walk-in wine cellar, and offers avant-garde Chinese cuisine with a wide selection of tantalising dishes prepared by eminent Chinese chef, Albert Tze Wai Shing. The Japanese restaurant "Kazahana" is divided into three sections based on the themes kaiseki, sushi and teppan; three private dining rooms are available with tatami or wooden flooring.

Conrad Tokyo's 1,400m² spa and fully equipped fitness complex is the most extensive and exclusive hotel spa in Tokyo. Its modern Japanese design, where lines are pure and colours soft, exudes tranquility for the mind, body and soul. Western methods are employed in the ten treatment rooms, using grape seed aromatherapy from California's Napa Valley Spa and natural bio-cosmetics engineered by Germany's Dr. Spiller. Japan's first 'Sumie-style' 25-metre indoor swimming pool is finished in pure black and incorporates the designs of traditional paintings that blend in with Conrad Tokyo's architecture.

Shiodome is an inner city office, retail and entertainment development project located mid way between Ginza, where the world's most expensive real estate is found, and Tokyo's famous Hamarikyu Gardens. The precinct has excellent infrastructure including subway and train links, direct expressway access to Rainbow Bridge, easy connections to Haneda and Narita Airports as well as Shinkansen stops. Tokyo International Forum is located nearby, whilst Tokyo Big Sight, the city's largest exhibition area in the ultramodern Odaiba district, is a short train ride away. Given its immediate proximity to Ginza, the famous Tsukiji fish market and the peaceful and beautiful Hamarikyu Gardens, Shiodome is rapidly establishing itself as a prime tourist destination within Tokyo.
